Some couples already know where they want to marry while others want more guidance. Our experienced team is glad to help you select the perfect beach for your wedding venue.

We use certain beaches in the many Florida beach destinations that we serve and we are glad to let you know our favorites. We are able to provide our services at most beaches, including county and state Parks, beachfront resorts, condos and rented beach houses.

Yes! You will need permission from the resort /condo or rental home owner.  Most all beachfront resorts charge their own fees to marry on their property and often   include an indoor banquet space to use for the ceremony if inclement weather.  You pay the resort directly for their fees.   Most condos and home rentals do not charge to use their beach and prove to be a great option in place of a resort.   Due to the higher expense of using a beachfront resort, many of our couples choose to marry on other beautiful beaches away from the large resorts for a more quiet and affordable beach wedding.

Yes.  For less people on the beach we suggest weekday sunset weddings.  Of course we provide our weddings 7 days a week.  Speaking from our many years of experience doing beach weddings, we have found that people are respectful and do not interfere.  We also do our best to set your ceremony away from beach goers.

In our experience, most beaches do require a permit to get married on the beach. Permit fees vary in price depending on the city, but, based on our knowledge, they generally range between $125 to $450. This is more affordable than the fees charged at beachfront resorts. We will help you obtain the permit that is needed for the beach that you choose as your wedding venue.

We do beach weddings year round and Friday and Saturday sunset ceremonies tend to fill up first.   To avoid more people on the beach we suggest weekday weddings, but we provide them 7 days a week.   We start most of our weddings when the sun is at its best for amazing photos and conclude with romantic sunset pictures. Do any of your packages include accommodations and a dinner reception?

No, we do not offer accommodation and dinner packages. However, once you book your wedding venue package with us, we will email you our personally researched list of recommended accommodations, dinner reception options, high-quality salons available, and the Clerk of the Court’s information to purchase your marriage license. These recommendations and more help our clients create the wedding of their dreams!

Our experience preparing wedding packages has given us expert knowledge of marriage licensing. Based on our knowledge, both partners must be at least 18 years old and unmarried to obtain a Florida marriage license. Both applicants must appear in person and provide a picture-type identification with the date of birth shown, such as a driver’s license, passport, or student ID. If either party was previously married, the applicant is required to indicate on the license application the date, county and state (or country) in which the divorce, dissolution, or annulment was finalized for the previous marriage.

The marriage license is issued at the time of application and is valid for 60 days. No blood tests are required in Florida and there is no waiting period between issuance of the license and the ceremony for non-residents of Florida.

However, there is a three day waiting period for Florida residents. According to Marriage Laws, the marriage license fee is $88.00. The marriage license is issued by the Clerk of the Court in each county of Florida but can be used throughout the state of Florida.

Once you book with us, we then provide the address and further details for you to obtain your Florida marriage license. If you are not able to arrive in Florida to obtain your license Monday through Friday at the Clerk of the Court office. We also provide a virtual option to obtain the marriage license. A license obtained in a state other than Florida cannot be used in the state of Florida. As an experienced wedding venue, we can help you with this.

Our officiant signs it, and post mails the license to the same Clerk of the Court office that you purchased it from. The Clerk’s office will then mail the couple the certified copy often arriving in 10-15 days following the wedding.   Our officiant can also sign the marriage certificate immediately after the ceremony and give back to you, if you desire to file it yourself and obtain more certified copies.

Yes, and we encourage a customized ceremony that fits your desires and personality.   Guests may read poems or other readings and children can be part of the sand unity ceremony with you.   To ensure a flawless ceremony you will customize it together with one of our officiants in the planning stage.

There is no need for a rehearsal, because beach weddings are simple.   We put you in direct contact by phone with our officiant to customize your ceremony, it is much like a rehearsal …over the phone.  All ceremony details are obtained by our experienced team and our officiant to provide a personalized and meaningful ceremony. After this conversation with your officiant, most couples see no need for a rehearsal.   You and your guests will also be provided friendly direction about 30 minutes prior your ceremony when you meet at the beach.   However, if you still desire a rehearsal, it is available for an additional $100.   There is extra time and travel for the officiant to provide this extra service.

All of our packages include the officiant but yes you may use your own officiate.

However we highly recommend using our professionally trained officiants who are experts at performing beach ceremonies.

Within 30 days of the wedding, the total amount is due and is non-refundable but transferrable to another date or location agreed upon by Florida Weddings and the client.   Upon payment, the deposit, plus any fees incurred to provide for your wedding are non-refundable regardless of how much time is left to refill the date.  These fees are paid to vendors who have reserved the date and time.

You may apply the fee to move your wedding to another date, time or location. This date must be discussed and agreed upon with Florida Weddings to avoid conflicts with previous bookings.

Beach wedding companies are a service oriented business and are not an indoor wedding venue to rent a back-up space from due to inclement weather. Most often rain in Florida passes by quickly, therefore most of our weddings are on the beach. We also are in contact with you the day of the wedding if there are concerns.

However, we recommend that you secure a back-up location for your ceremony. Once you have booked your wedding with us we provide our list of back up options to consider. It is the couple’s responsibility to secure an indoor back up space if you so choose.

The most viable backup option is a banquet space at a resort or an association space at a condo. There are also some beautiful restaurants with private spaces that we can move the ceremony to if needed. We are not permitted to set up most of our décor in restaurants. However, some spaces would allow for the ceremony and pictures to take place.

About 4 weeks following your wedding, your photo images are emailed via a downloadable photo gallery with all rights to print and reproduce.  If you have video, a link to your video will be emailed to you about 4 weeks following your wedding, and you can download it and save it onto your computer, DVD or USB drive.

Yes! We have photography packages that include photography for one hour, one and a half hours, and two hours at the wedding venue. If you’d like to add additional photo time, it will be at the rate of $250 for each added hour.

It’s so easy! On our website, choose a package, then click on the “Book Now” button to fill out the online form and submit your deposit. You can also make reservations over the phone. You may call us during business hours and our team will be happy to help you with your reservation of a beach wedding venue.

When you reserve your date, a non-refundable deposit is required and final balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding.   We accept Visa, Master Card and  checks. You are welcome to make payments during the planning time if you wish.
